Great organisation at this festival. The way it should be. They actually gave me a pass for the whole festival, but, i only stayed for a day. A Good day as well ! Great to finally see Die Happy. After the gig a bunch of us hung around on this very cold night waiting for early morning buses. P.S. Thats Sandra back stage on the quad bike, having a driving lesson (At the time, she couldn’t drive)

It had been so long since Heart had been to the UK & i just HAD TO go. A very nice show (perhaps too nice? lol) even though i don’t like the venue. Damn it’s already another 10 years gone…when will they return to these shores again ? In June 2015 i had an email from Bandsintown which said : ” A secret venue Sheffield. Thursday 1st December 2016 ” . Hope it happens !

I only went for the one day. It’s hard to believe there were so few people in the crowd with camcorders. This is my angle. Considering my camcorder didn’t have any stabilization & i was quite far back, i think it’s pretty reasonable 🙂 I didn’t manage to shoot the whole show though as it started raining…i was prepared to trash the Cam for this unique show…the rain got in it & it shut down 🙁 But, with the joys of the internet & the hard core Metallica trading community, the other main angle (shoots more screen) & mine have been mixed together & even soundboard audio is added. Nice.

I remember thinking how late VOTB were arriving. Seems there was a hell of a delay on the motorway (Think i also caught part of it on my journey). Once they arrived, certainly seemed a little stressed out. Missy : ” Simon, at least give me a hug after that awful drive we’ve had!” (Or words to that effect). Was interesting for me seeing the “other side” of the venue. I kinda got a bit lost haha (Spinal Tap?).Again, VOTB went down well with the crowd & i filmed it all. Strange as it sounds, i hung with the band during some of The Stuffies set…strange because i LOVE the Stuffies. Also, i just kept my camcorder running most of the night & did a mini “interview” with Mike amongst other things.
