This was a fantastic show ! I remember it was raining before doors & i left Agota & Michel in the pub ! They soon got down near me though. Didn’t know it before hand, but, they were filming the show for a DVD release ” 11,000 Clicks”. Again, as luck would have it, we were down the front where the steps were for Roisin to visit the crowd. I’m easy to spot because of my red fleece top 😉

Myself & Michel started partying in Amsterdam. We then took a train to somewhere ( ?!) where “Johnny Playboy” picked us up. As we pulled in, he had a sign which said something like “Garbage Travel” 😉 Edit : Michel sent me a photo & it was in fact “Trash Travel” on JPs sign.

Once we got to festival site, they hadn’t opened & it was getting very boring & tiring. Then the beers & other things came out 😉 Gotta say, people just don’t seem to sleep at this festival. 24 hour partying. One of the worst/strangest memories was in the early hours 3/4 am, some dick head was wandering around with a megaphone trying to sell weed ! A funny memory was in the morning, when Guano Apes arrived at festival, Henning phoned me to arrange a meet. Johnny Playboy thought this was kinda funny…not everyday you’re in a tent at a festival & a rock star phones you 😉

This was bloody cold. I met Rob here & was probably introduced to Claire & Mel tonight or was it in Doncaster? We also met “The man with the cheese” here. Rurik, had a huge chunk of cheese which he was nagging away at outside the venue. It’s funny what you remember! I think he was also named the “banana man”. (All very friendly though). I also recall they were searching for cameras etc upon entry. One of the girls had one & was wearing a hoody top. I suggested putting it in the hanging hood. It worked, only for they to stop her taking photos during the gig.
