Whilst queuing up, hearing the sound check, “Only Happy When It Rains” sounded different.We managed front row. There’s a nice bootleg video which includes Chrissie Hynde jamming OHWIR during the show 😉

 I wasn’t in a good mood for this one (Think i’d recently slit up with a GF maybe) . After the greatness of Newcastle City Hall, tiny room compared to Wembley Arena, seeing them in this shed, pretty much to the back of venue, just wasn’t any good. Years later i found a boot of the show & i’m surprised how good it sounds in this cavern of a place

This one was more for my sister. Whilst it was in an arena, i still enjoyed the show. Another memory of this one was that we had spades & blankets in the car for if we got snowed in ! Another cool thing about this day was, nearby, there was a hifi shop & i got my first twin tape deck from there….
