Blimey ! Getting to see Maiden at Rock City was something i’d always dreamed of happening. But what a shame it was at their lowest point in their career & what i refer to as the “fake Maiden”. Of course, this was when they had Blaze on vocals. For myself, he just couldn’t cut it. But as it was “Maiden” playing R.C. i just had to go.
This one also got filmed 😉
Stand out memory of this was John Bush diving from the PA stack. Madness. Brilliant gig though & man can he sing.
Funny coincidence was that Voice Of The Beehive were playing a show at Newark Castle the same night. Normally, i would have gone to VOTB, but, this was special.

Not very busy at all. There were a bunch of us who’d travelled from Boston. Otherwise, i guess it was pretty much just Louds usual travelling fans. Despite small crowd, it was still a great night out.
