After Dios UK debut at Monsters of Rock,Castle Donington, i just had to see a headline show. He certainly didn’t disappoint. Not only did he have the old classics from previous bands he’d been , he also had fantastic songs from his debut Dio album ” Holy Diver “. Oh what a night !

Wow ! Seeing Kiss @ De Montfort ! Amazing. First time they played the UK without make up on. Ace Frehley was out of the band though 🙁 Still, a great show for sure !

Maiden @ De Montfort was always a great night out. Don’t think i ever experienced a bad audience there. This was the “Piece Of Mind” tour. Nicko McBrain had just joined. I loved the start of this show, with a long intro & then pounding into “Where Eagles Dare”. Then straight into “Wrathchild” & ” Revelations”. Plenty of new songs played from the new album (& the right ones lol). On this tour i saw Maiden twice, but, i decided on the next one i would try follow them around the UK as much as i could….

Back when we were limited to the amount of gigs we could get to, as my dad would drive us. Around same time, Thin Lizzy announced their own farewell tour & we had to decided between UFO or Lizzy. Live n learn eh ? !
