All i remember about this is that i didn’t enjoy the show. Combination of the shitty NEC & the Cult thinking they’re gods gift made for a bad night.

The best EVER show i’ve seen at nec. Superb atmosphere,great lighting. Bumped into a friend from Leicester. (Ben,a HUGE Cure fanatic) He had got caught taking his tape recorder in. After using a great scam with security,he managed to tape this memorable gig! Good on ya Ben!!

This was a dangerous gig,for a different reason. After the show, lots of us tried to leave the venue by following signs that said “EXIT” Only to find after walking various corridors,the Fire escape exit doors were LOCKED. A disaster waiting to happen. We did get out,but cant remember how..

I’ve never like the drive from Boston to Birmingham,but, i had to go to this show. So i drove to Nottingham & took a bus trip to Brum ! Brian Tatler jammed at this show.

It was awful weather with lots of snow. Also remember a couple of idiots in the queue outside only wearing t-shirts ! They should have opened the doors early..
