During this gig, i just walked up to Tony Martin (vocalist for The Alliance) & told him how much i loved the band. Don’t think they ever released an album, but years later Tony Martin joined Black Sabbath 😉

What a VERY strange pairing of bands this was ! We went to see Lee Aaron 😉 The most bizarre thing i’ve witnessed at Rock City was the Hawkwind audience : A load of them were sitting down on the floor ! It’s the one & only time ive seen it in RC .

The first time at Rock City & there were certain nerves involved lol. The place has changed over the years. Back then, there used to be a food bar. Also, this show was kinda being filmed as there were screens it was projected onto. It was an in house system. I’ve often wondered if the shows were actually recorded…
